The trombone studio at Bowling Green State University is made up of 16-20 undergraduate, graduate and doctoral students hailing from both the US and abroad. Led by Dr. Brittany Lasch, students at BSGU have the opportunity to pursue degrees in both classical and jazz performance, music education, as well as a DMA that specializes in contemporary performance. All trombonists have the opportunity to participate in the BGSU Trombone Choir as well as a wide range of additional ensembles including the BGSU Philharmonia, Wind Symphony, Concert Band, University Band, Marching Band, as well as a host of big bands, combos, and other chamber ensembles.

BGSU is able to offer qualified undergraduate students financial aid as well as scholarships for both merit and academic achievement. Additionally, there are graduate assistantship positions open for the trombone studio and many other departments in the College of Musical Arts.
